Who we are
Actual AI is the trading name of Matteo Manzoni, a self-employed sole trader based in Twickenham. Email matteo.manzoni@actualai.uk. Business address for post and legal documents: Office 19881, 182-184 High Street North, London E6 2JA.
What we hold about you
If we wrote to your business, we hold: your company's name and number and its registered office (from Companies House), your business website address, the business email address published on that website, any name shown with it, and the name of a director where we addressed them by name. We keep a record of when we wrote and any reply. If you book a call or reply, we also keep what you send us.

Companies House (the public register) and your business's own website.
Why, and our lawful basis
- Website outreach. To offer your business a new website, starting with a free concept built from your current site: one email and at most two short follow-ups.
- Owner conversations. To ask a few local business owners about the problems they face, so that what we offer is useful: one email and at most one visit or call.
- Replies and calls. To answer you and, if you ask, to quote and deliver work.
Our lawful basis for writing to you is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): contacting limited companies at their published business addresses about something relevant to them, in a small number of individually written emails. If you become a customer, it is the contract between us (Article 6(1)(b)). We have written down the legitimate interests assessment and it is available on request.
How long we keep it
If you do not reply, we delete your details 3 months after our last email. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep only your email address, web domain and company number on a do-not-contact list, so that we never contact you again. If you become a customer, we keep what is needed to run your service and meet our tax record duties.
Who we share it with
No one, except the services that process it for us: Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare (website hosting) and, if you book a call, our booking tool. We never sell or share lists.
The sample enquiry demo
The enquiry demo sends only your chosen fictional scenario, tone and missing-detail options to Anthropic (the company behind Claude), to prepare a reply draft. It accepts no free text, uploads or email addresses and sends no messages. We do not store the selected options or generated drafts. To limit use, we retain only daily-salted hashes of IP addresses with request counters, plus a daily total. Anthropic's own retention and processing terms apply and will be reviewed before live generation is enabled. Our hosting provider may process technical connection information as part of running the website. If generation is unavailable or a limit is reached, a labelled saved example is shown. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse only when you request a draft and receives technical information, including your IP address.
Your rights
You can object to marketing at any time and we will stop: reply "no thanks" or email matteo.manzoni@actualai.uk. You can also ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
